Gurdip Singh Narula was born in 1943 in Sheikhupura now in West Pakistan. His father, Gopal ingh Narula, was a successful businessman. He employed 8000 persons, and was one of the first o buy the “Caterpillar” in India, and owned Coal Mines, as well as several factories & one of the argest brick kilns in India. Due to the partition of India, Narula and his family were forced to move o Punjab, India.
